CINEMATOGRAPHY
Documentary Moments. Editorial Portraits.
The best wedding photographs aren't always the ones we plan.
They're the glance across the room. Your dad trying not to cry. Your best friend fixing your dress. The laughter that happens five seconds after the "perfect" photo. The people, expressions and little moments that made your wedding yours.
That's what I'm constantly looking for.
My approach is primarily documentary — allowing moments to happen naturally without turning your wedding into an all-day photoshoot. But documentary doesn't mean I simply stand back and hope for the best.
When a photograph needs direction, I'll give it. When the light is incredible, I'll use it. When it's time to create that dramatic, editorial portrait worthy of a magazine spread, I'll take control.
The result is a gallery that gives you both: photographs that remind you exactly how your wedding felt, and portraits that make you stop scrolling every time you see them.
And through all of it, I'll keep things relaxed, fun and easy — because the more comfortable you are with me, the more authentic your photographs become.

Your Story, Unscripted. Your Portraits, Unforgettable.
Your wedding isn't a photoshoot. It's one of the most meaningful days of your life — and I believe you should be able to actually live it.
My approach blends documentary wedding photography with an editorial eye. For most of the day, I'm watching, anticipating and documenting the real moments as they happen — the laughter, the nerves, the tears, the chaos, the people you love and all of those little in-between moments you didn't even realize were happening.
And when it's time for portraits, I know how to step in.
I'll guide you when you need it, find the right light, make small adjustments and create polished, editorial photographs without making you feel stiff, overly posed or like you're pretending to be someone you're not.
You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to be comfortable in front of a camera. That's my job.
My goal is simple: to make you feel completely at ease, give you the freedom to enjoy your wedding, and create a collection of photographs that feels like you — honest, emotional, sophisticated and timeless.

LONG ISLAND BASED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER & CINEMATOGRAPHER
Hi, I'M FIRAS
Thank you so much for stopping by and I'm glad you're here!
I'm a photographer, cinematographer, storyteller, occasional dress-fluffer, family wrangler and the guy reminding you that your only job today is to enjoy your wedding.

I've photographed hundreds of weddings, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the best photographs happen when people stop worrying about the photographs.

That's why making you comfortable is just as important to me as lighting, composition and everything happening behind my camera.
I'll tell you exactly what to do when you need direction. And when you don't, I'll get out of the way and let life happen.
