As a Syrian-American photographer who speaks Arabic, Arab weddings feel especially close to home.
I understand that these celebrations are about more than two people getting married. They're about family, tradition, generations coming together, incredible food, a packed dance floor — and usually a whole lot of beautiful chaos.
Being able to speak Arabic allows me to connect naturally with your parents, grandparents and relatives. There's less explaining, less translating and a level of comfort that can make a real difference when I'm documenting some of the most personal moments of your wedding day.

Because I understand the culture, I know to look beyond just the bride and groom. I'm watching Mom and Dad's reactions, Teta and Jiddo across the room, the family surrounding you during the zaffe, and everything happening when the dabke takes over the dance floor.
But understanding the culture is only part of what I bring.
My photography combines a documentary approach with an editorial eye. I'll let the real moments unfold naturally and capture them as they happen — then step in when it's time to create those refined, beautifully directed portraits you'll want hanging on your walls.
